Rootz and Aerials

This is the bigest painting i've done yet, It's 1.8m x 1.8m. Its my response to the statement "People no longer have roots, they have aerials" I feel that it is obvious and even obsurd in Australia.

In a Flash

I hung this painting in Gavin Topps gym. Gavin was the Australian jnr midleweight champion a few years ago, he now runs "Fight Like a Pro." It's an awesome concept where he trains up everyday people (newsagents, realestate agents, carpenters, even Church Pastors) to box. It gave me a rare chance to watch my Pastor fight. "I'm preaching peace and harmony, the blessings of tranquility, but I know when the time is right to strike" (Dylan.) He done a good job too! Draw with a wild windmill style IT dude.

I never finished this one, I was going to put a 1965 Bob Dylan fro on the bald one but threw it out instead. Kind of wish I finished it.

Moments of time; necklace

When a clock is destroyed, we do not destroy time, we don't even slow it down. Instead we create a moment to apreciate a fragment of time itself.

Sketching

I used to spend heaps of time sketchin faces, some people i knew, some famous people and some of my imaginary friends (the ones that would sit still for me). This is Whiteley's Joel Elenburg and Jeff Burroughs (Tea Party) with a Fire in the Head.
